What is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

Breast cancer refers to the situation in which the breast cells start proliferating at an open rate. It often starts from the inner epithelium of the milk ducts known as ductal carcinoma and may also start from lobules called the lobular carcinoma. If the cells proliferate and metastasize to other organs, it becomes malignant. Breast cancer can form in mammary glands of both female and male. Its successful treatment is possible if diagnosed earlier.
